Therapy Rates

 

Initial Consultation: 45 min-No charge | In-person

​This is a "getting to know you" session for both of us. We will focus on what brings you to therapy at this time, what you believe you want to achieve via therapy and I will give you an overview of how I approach therapeutic work.  You and I will both have 48 hours to decide if we would like to proceed.

Sessions

I normally conduct a diagnostic evaluation that will last from 3 to 5 sessions. During this time, we can both decide on the issues of concern and if I am the best person to provide the services that you (or your child/family) need in order to meet your treatment goals. Once psychotherapy has begun, I will usually schedule sessions (frequency and duration based on the treatment goals developed from the diagnostic phase) at a time(s) we agree on.

Session Fees: Individuals       50 min - $150.00  | 60 min - $175 | 80 min -$250

                          Couples             50 min - $200.00  | 60 min - $225 | 80 min -$275

 Insurance 

 I am a “fee at time of service” provider and therefore am not on any insurance panel. Therefore, it is very important that you find out exactly what “out-of-network” mental health services your insurance policy covers. You should carefully read the section in your insurance coverage booklet that describes mental health services. If you have questions about the coverage, call your plan administrator. You may want to ask:

• What is my deductible?

• Do I have a limit on the number of sessions/year I am allowed?

• What is the per session amount that insurance will cover?

 

 If you choose to submit for reimbursement, I will provide you with a monthly invoice that has the information you will need to complete the forms for your insurance company.

Cancellation

Once an appointment session is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 24 hours [1day] advance notice of cancellation[unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control]. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions. [If it is possible, I will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment.].

Reduced Fees (Sliding Scale)

Available on a limited basis with required income verification.
