Jacqui is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (#112380) working with individuals, couples, and groups.

She works both psychodynamically from a spiritual/depth perspective as well as behaviorally from a dialectical skills perspective with a broad spectrum of clients dealing with: anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, trauma, women's empowerment; relationships, parenting, and life transitions--divorce, new baby, death, relocation, menopause, career changes.

Looking through a Depth (Jungian) lens, you and Jacqui may allow symbols and metaphor—whether in dreams, motifs or patterns that continually show themselves in your life—to inform an understanding of your emotional wellbeing. Jacqui works diligently, creatively and empathetically with you to shed light on emotionally tangled, incomprehensible or tough to accept issues you are facing.

When your work is better suited to a behavioral approach, Jacqui can work with you to: regulate your emotions, improve your inter-personal relationships, tolerate distress and be mindful in the present moment.

That said, two critical factors are the cornerstones of great therapy: The first and most important is the therapeutic alliance (our ability to connect and trust each other) and; the second is the ability of the therapist to be aware and responsive to what is happening in the moment in the therapy room.

These are Jacqui's individual strengths.

When you work with her, there is no expert in the therapy room…just two human beings exchanging their experience of one-another. You are the expert of your own experience. If the alliance is strong, there’s no telling what the exploration will yield...the possibilities are endless.

You will begin to know yourself better as a result of your work with Jacqui. From there, the decisions are all yours!
